Bareroot Trees:
In early spring we stock bareroot deciduous trees. We sell
bareroot trees because they offer savings to our customers,
convenience in transporting and normally have a larger and better
root system. We have bareroot shade trees available in sizes
up to 1 1/2" caliper which can be 10-12 ft. tall.
Smaller sizes are also available. With bareroot trees,
customers save the cost of a pot, soil, and labor of
potting. We feel we have the largest selection of bareroot
trees in the area. Come see our large display area!

Autumn
Blaze Maple |
Shade Trees: Probably the most popular shade
tree today is the Autumn Blaze Maple, which is a hybrid combining the
favorable characteristics of a Silver and Red Maple -- fast growing and
red in color in the fall. We will have these available in bareroot
in two sizes. Our shade trees include Ash, Linden, Maples (Silver,
Red, Norway & new hybrids), Oak, Hackberry, Birches, Honeylocust,
Willows, and Poplars. Most of our potted shade trees are in 15
gallon pots with a few in 20-25 sizes.

Ornamental Trees: Flowering Crabs are one of the most
popular of the ornamental trees. We carry more than a dozen
varieties. Most of our varieties have the persistent fruit
that does not litter. Other favorites are the Ash, Japanese
Tree Lilacs and the smaller Amur and Tarturian Maples. We
have the new Crimson Frost Birch with a purple leaf as well as
many other interesting varieties. |

Apple
Tree |
Fruit Trees: We are
beginning our year with apple varieties as well as hardy pears, apricots,
plums, and cherries. Our fruit trees are all generously planted in
10 gallon pots to give our trees a better start. We carry apple
trees in standard and Dwarf rootstocks. Standard rootstock produce
full size trees that generally begin bearing fruit in 5-8 years.
Semi Dwarf rootstock will produce trees that are approximately 60% of the
size of a standard tree or approximately 12-15 feet tall and about
14" wide. These trees may produce fruit earlier than their
standard counterparts.
